PAINT A HOT COCOA MUG!
Who doesn’t love a warm cup of hot cocoa? Check out this blog post featuring a step by step tutorial. Add a fun spin on this project by creating dimensional marshmallows from clay!
MAKE A MINI WINTER HAT !
With just some yarn and old paper towel roll, you can make these adorable winter hats. I really love this tutorial by The Make Your Own Zone blog. The creator, Bev, shows you how to make a mini winter hat and then add a hand crafted pompom to turn it into a cute little gnome.
These make great ornaments and are easy to make!
WINTER-THEMED STRING ART!
All you need is a block of wood, small nails, a hammer, and some string to create intertwined string art with a winter theme.
DRAW A CREATURE IN A COZY WINTER SWEATER

MAKE A PAPER COLLAGE PINE TREE!
If you have access to a lot of scrap paper, old magazines, etc, consider make a torn paper collage! Simply draw the outline of a pine tree and fill it with tiny bits of torn paper to give it an interesting texture.
DESIGN AN UGLY WINTER SWEATER
My art classes had fun making little ugly winter sweaters using cut foam paper as the template and decorating it with markers and all kinds of random odds and ends. We turned these into ornaments
PAINT A WREATH!

SCULPT SOME “COOKIES FOR SANTA”
Using air dry clay or model magic, try to sculpt some holiday cookies that look good enough to eat!
DESIGN WINTER LOG CABINS!
Using popsicle sticks, toothpicks, cardboard, wood pieces, or whatever else you can get creative with… build a 3d log cabin. Use cotton balls to add some wintery snow in the scene around it.
